Between June 1st and 3rd, over 200 vessels competed in the ORC and IRC categories. Alongside the professionally crewed racing boats, numerous well-prepared vessels with determined crews took part in the challenge.
The race unfolded from Livorno to Marina di Pisa, Corsica, Isola d’Elba, culminating at Punta Ala. Throughout the journey, the teams faced light breezes, calm conditions, and unpredictable wind shifts.
The 19-members crew of Advanced A80 Showed excellent teamwork and secured a remarkable 5th place out of the 138 boats in the highly competitive ORC category.
The weather conditions made it quite demanding to sail the boat, but it consistently maintained a good pace, even in the lightest winds.
This undeniably positive performance marks a promising debut for Advanced A80, and we are determined to build on this success in the upcoming events.

SALT cast off on her maiden voyage from the Port of Pesaro with her owner, two friends and one of our captains on board. She then sailed for Brindisi, continuing on towards Santa Maria di Leuca at the very tip of Puglia. From there, she made her way through the Strait of Messina and then skirted the Aeolian Islands in the direction of Cagliari.
Having left Sardinian waters, SALT finally headed to Palma where she arrived a few days ago.
She enjoyed six days of good but at times very demanding weather conditions. The wind was almost always downwind and SALT maintained a very high average speed, often making 17/18 knots and sometimes exceeding 20 knots. The passage was an excellent test and confirmed the Advanced A66s’s seaworthiness.
The boat is now moored in Palma where she will attend the Palma Boat Show, which runs from April 28th until May 1st.

Advanced A44 has been nominated for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year 2015 award.
After the International Boat Show in Genoa, 12 journalists from the most prestigious European nautical magazines were in Santa Margherita Ligure to carry out a sea trial of the boat.
We are pleased to inform you that our new A44 has won the prestigious ‘European Yacht Of The Year 2015’ award. The prize was awarded during the opening night of the Dusseldorf Boat Show.
The ‘European Yacht of the Year’ award is the most important competition involving boat manufacturers. It is the only one involving 11 different newspapers from 11 different European countries during which, in a fortnight and in two different parts of Europe, 25 of the best yachts produced are tested in five categories.
Every year more than 80 new yachts reach the European market. However, only five of them can aspire to receive the prestigious title “European Yacht of the Year 2015″.

Pesaro 16 May 2015 launched Apsaras, the Advanced A80
The name indicates the female spirit of clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythologies as the etymology of the name “ap” water and “sar” move attests.
In the next few weeks the technical and seatrial tests will be completed and the boat will be delivered to her eager owner in early June.
Apsaras is to date the highest expression of Advanced values: the sophisticated construction technology and the best materials available guarantee exhilarating performance for sports use together with great cruising comfort.
The Advanced “concept” that combines functionality and design, finds its maximum realization in this beautiful 80 feet.
The boat will remain in the Mediterranean for the next summer season and will be visited by all our boat enthusiasts at the Cannes Boat Show and the Monaco Yachts Show before setting sail for the Caribbean.
