Following her international success this season, the Advanced A44, winner of the “European Yacht of the Year 2015” award, returns home for the Genoa Boat Show from 30 September to 5 October.

The A44 has been awarded the ADI Design Index in the “Design for Mobility” category, thus becoming part of the publication that brings together the best of Italian design. Its selection and publication in the ADI Design Index is a pre-selection for participation in the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro Award, the oldest and most authoritative design award in the world.

We are pleased to inform you that in September we will be present at the Cannes, Genoa and Monaco Boat Shows with our two yachts A44 and A80.
A44 The boat that won the “European Yacht of the Year” award in 2015 and received the “ADI Design Index” award for its ability to combine Pure Racer performance with a design and volume of the interior such as to create a real Loft on the water.
A80 Our flagship, the thoroughbred of the seas that crossed the finish line in first place in the “Cruising” category during the ARC regatta. A high performance boat where comfort, luxury and elegance come together to create something unique.
The ADVANCED A80 APSARAS arrives first at the ARC 2015 – Atlantic Rally for Cruisers in the “cruising division” from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia.
During the first days of December the boats participating in the ARC started to arrive in Saint Lucia, after completing the Atlantic crossing. On 5 December, in the early afternoon, the Advanced A80 APSARAS crossed the finish line in first position in the Cruising Category, and ninth overall out of around 200 boats, after covering 2,885 miles in 13 days. The boat launched in June 2015, after a short test cruise from the Adriatic to the Tyrrhenian Sea left the Mediterranean for Gran Canaria to participate in the ARC. The regatta was an excellent test to prove the reliability of the boat and verify its potential in terms of performance.

After warming up their muscles on the occasion of their debut in society, winning the prestigious ARC Regatta (Las Palmas to St Lucia), Apsaras embarked on a journey around the world. Captain Fabio Becattini, commissioned by the Hong Kong owner to create a highly experienced team, has planned stage by stage the adventurous journey that will take them to the island of Phuket in Thailand in December 2017 to take part in the prestigious Phuket King’s Cup Regatta. The journey will continue through the Asian seas to Oceania, before reaching the American coast and finally stopping in Hong Kong.

On the occasion of the third edition of the MonteNapoleone Yacht Club, Advanced Italian Yachts with Fedeli Cashmere held an Opening Cocktail on 16 May at the Fedeli Boutique on Via Monte Napoleone.
MonteNapoleone Yacht Club, an event promoted by MonteNapoleone District, will run throughout the week until 21 May.
After arriving in Cape Town on Christmas Eve, Apsaras set sail for the Indian Ocean. Unspoilt places and dream waters await her.
The wild nature of Madagascar, the marvellous sea of the Maldives and the Seychelles, the culture and history of Sri Lanka, the unique landscapes of the islands of Thailand: the Advanced A80 Apsaras’ journey around the world continues. In the coming months the boat will stop in Phuket where the crew will begin preparations for the prestigious Phuket King’s Cup Regatta in December. The journey will then continue to Malaysia and Indonesia before arriving in Australia and New Zealand. Apsaras will then head for the American continent and sail up the Pacific coast of the two Americas from south to north to Vancouver in Canada and then on to Hawaii, the Marshall Islands and Japan to end her long journey in Hong Kong in 2018.

APSARAS, the Advanced A80 with Fabio Becattini at the helm, has hoisted the sails for the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta taking place from 2-9 December at Beyond Resort Kata in Phuket. The competition began in 1986 and is now one of the most important events on the Asian continent, so much so that last year it received recognition as the “Best Asian Regatta”. Around 80 participants have been battling it out in the waters off Phuket since 3 December.
